Three people and shadows

British Museum

On a technical note, when I initially viewed the above image on the computer it looked a complete dog, so I had to tweak it somewhat in Photoshop, and it still does not look quite right. But since it took me an age to learn the rudiments of Windows XP, it's going to take me sometime to master the joys of Photoshop 5 ....... or just get into the habit of not being so sloppy with the camera at the point of exposure.

British Museum
What an excellent exhibit of well preserved Egyptian hieroglyphic writing this is.

Gorm No 5

This is the National Theatre's Lyttleton fly tower. Part of which has been covered with grass by Heather Ackroyd and Dan Harvey. The person in yellow at the top and to the left of the Gorm is watering the grass. I must have just missed lawnmower-man ........ I wonder how that works then?

Gorm No 1

Last Saturday I paid a visit to the South Bank to see Anthony Gormley's life-sized naked figures. Apparently there are 31 of his sculptures dotted about the area and they are all cast from his own body. The one above was on Waterloo Bridge.

Tripe Dressers

I know, probably everyone who goes to Smithfield Market with a camera takes a snap of this, but it is such an irresistible facade.

Cigarettes Only

This shot was taken in a street just south of the British Museum.
